Computer performance monitoring

Post by Music Manic »

Hi guys

Could anyone help me grasp how to monitor things, especially my hard disks, Graphics cards and Memory I/O.

It's obvious seeing my computer stutter when it becomes maxed out but I'd like to pin point things.

Are there any good apps that dig deeper than the task manager. I think Systernals is good at some stuff.

All help appreciated.

LatencyMon is a pretty good utility for seeing potential audio issues. Here's the free version:

Hmm,

are you having dropouts? I had some when my latency was set too low. I gotta keep it on the 2nd lowest and it seems to be running fine.
