Floppy Power Connectors

Post by fraz »

Are floppy disk drive power connectors found on modern motherboards? or have they been made redundant?

I was thinking of the Luna Box (if a 2nd unit was used with the older PCI cards) then power is needed from the MOBO to provide power to the Luna Box

floppy power connectors are usually available on modern psu.

The lunabox is powered over firewire cable that must be attached only to a luna card that gets the power from the pci slot.
