how is this one
http://www.asus.com/bd/Motherboards/Z87 ... fications/
it has 3 pci and built in vga. past years we always use separate vga. not sure how this works but if it share processing power then native processing will be cut out for this.

Z87 motherboards have been working. Supermicro is light years better quality than Asus.
i'd use a graphics card, but built-in graphics will work. you will just have less resources for your music.

SUPERMICRO MBD-C7Z87-O ATX Motherboard LGA 1150 Intel Z87 DDR3 1600
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813182836

this board has 2 pci slot. one for pulsar 2 and other for powercore 6000 via pci/firewire card. hope it doesn't do any IRQ sharing problem.

there is ALWAYS irq sharing on new motherboards. only USB, LAN and Firewire are really going to be troublesome if they share an irq with the Scope card, mainly USB. if there is a USB controller or two that shares with the card, disable it. it's not a big deal, there are plenty of controllers in a modern motherboard.
