If anything it would be even better than other chipsets with lots of extra
functionalities most never use for audio.
I think that's a great score.
Especially if you can use 3 x Scope and older UAD/ToPo cards that are selling
for peanuts these days.

Are you sure the software for these old PCI cards, especially PowerCore (PoCo), is or will be updated to run w/ latest operating systems ?

Both will work w/ up to Win 7 but Win 8 is no-go.

I think, latest chipsets/ mobos as well as usable processors prefer latest OS.
Win 7 is o.k. for the time being,- but ...
