There are some motherboards that still have PCI slots-
some are 32 bit and some are 64 bit - ! - confusion - We are talking PCI slots here and not operating systems like Windows XP 32 bit or 64 bit but PCI slots in the configuration of a PC-
So sometimes I have a look online to configurate a PC - Like today so you can choose the most up to date CPU the Haswell 4770k or what ever to go with Windows 7 64 bit with a motherboard that still has a PCI slot on BUT IS 32 BIT------ Some are 64 bits ---- The confusion sets in because in the PC spec you wish loads more RAM 16GB or say more 32GB that is addressable by the OS but you have 32 bit PCI slots - ------
Please explain this a little if you don't mind.
