More of the stuff that was on mobo's are being integrated into the CPU anyway & just a reflection of desktop market in general. I doubt we'll loose any functionality/reliability just because of this exit.

They subbed out their manufacturing to Asus a while back, but did demand that they provide an extra QC step not afforded to new Asus boards, which is what all Taiwanese manufacturers do. Sell it now, fix it later.
But even with the extra step Intel demanded from GayZues they still managed to release bug ridden boards.
The only manufacturer that thouroughly tests ALL of it's products is SuperMicro made right here in Silicon Valley, but the Taiwanese chaps are Top Shelf, and their support proves this.
