Acer's Iconia Dual Screen Tablet/Laptop makes it to production:

But, WHY couldn't they just slip in an ExpressCard slot for the XITE??!!

My ACER is 6 months old and no ExpressCard. If I want to use ExpressCard on a laptop I have to use my work HP EliteBook.

Apparantly ExpressCard are not included in many new laptops these days.

Matrox makes a pretty good solution for a second & third monitor for laptops.

The point being that this Acer turns the keyboard into the second monitor.

Pretty cool evolution of current technological implementation IMO.

Greg

p.s. and I have a tripleHeadToGo, which works great with my Xite laptop.

Imagine having your sequencer in the upward window, keeping a view on the song, while controlling the mixer or some device(s) on the bottom window via touch -- no midi mapping, etc. Just tweak. That's brilliant to me!
