Do Scope or XITE already run on 64 bit XP/Vista/Win7?
And if not yet, is there an ETA?
I ask because I still havent replaced my dead PC. Yes the one that died in May! Have been out of work since then and spent last 3 months backpacking so had no need for it But back now, so am once again researching what PC parts to get to host my cards (two Pulsar IIs, and one Pulsar I).
Cheers,
Menno

No 64bit, only 32.

There's already several posts regarding this.
64-bit is in process.
ETA = soon

Thanks. It was just not clear to me from post on the board whether XITE supported 64bit already, and also what the ETA is.
With soon are we talking weeks or months, or is it unknown?
I just would be a bit upset if I finish building a 32bit Windows machine and the drivers come out the following week

it's unknown. i'd guess weeks to months, and more likely months, but if it came out sooner i wouldn't be surprised either...

I can see something possibly happen by NAMM time in January. But possibly 'sooner'
My assumption is that Scope5 officially gets released with the other XTC/VDAT bells and whistles running.
Then I presume 64-bit and PCI-e interface comes next.

I'd say: Build your 32bit machine.

I have it running on Win 7 32 bit, and it flies.
Unless you need huge amounts of memory for samplers or things like that, you won't get any benefit from a 64 bit OS. It's *NOT* faster than 32 bit

Yeah, I'm about 75% sure I'll probably just go W7/32bit just to gain more RAM overhead for sampler/ROMplers, but that's all I need at this point.

Thanks guys,
I am now up and running on my new Windows 7 install. 32bit will have to do for now. 64 bit I really need for my non-music stuff.
OK off to go and stick my Pulsars in and install some Scope software
