Abit Motherboard and Athlon 1.4

I´ve just bought an Athlon 1.4 and a Abit KG7 Mobo is this going to work well with pulsar II or?I´ve read about athlon systems that they are very instable so im a little shaky about spending 1200$ on a pulsarcard.

I believe you can relax a bit. That MOBO is OK. However it has been reported that Abit MOBO:s has quality problems. They simply die after a while! If that happens you should buy an ASUS A7M266 instead.

Yup that's a fine board with the AMD chipset, it will work great with Pulsar.

I have the same config as you (kg-7 and tb1400) and it runs without any problems with my pulsar1.

The problems associated with amd is because of some via chipsets and not the processors. KG-7 has the amd761 northbridge so you can relax..
