..but it´s fact that jitter http://www.tnt-audio.com/clinica/jitter1_e.html can be perceived even by unprofessionals...
there are audiointerfaces with an industry-chip for worlclock, rme and tc e.g. are using high end controllers with jitter < 1ns.
so a professional worlclock has nothing to do with dropouts or clicks and pops, a professional worlclock CAN change the COLOR of audio signlas

all would actually be very simple if they'd just provide the type of clock generator and it's tolerances... pants down, so to saydigitalaudiosoft wrote:...
i like resellers when they are talking about tech and sound...a creamware resellers can say :a16 works like an apogee....api say's we don't need wordclock because our clock are very good !
...
would spare me the screwdriver to open the box and void warranty because I was too curious, again
Eric, your 'story' contributions are much appreciated, it's always fun to read about live events and such stuff - but there is no truth about 'sound' than the listener's own experience. Which is very individual.
Noone questions your qualification in your job, there's no need for personal defense - just accept that others have ears, too.
Some use them this way, some that, others don't care.
cheers, Tom

tom,i have accepted lots of things from you and friends,so,instead of writing new polemics here and on wired's post ,in wich ,by mail i have trryed to help him like garyb ,immanuel...
why don't you talk about your true and nice experience on recording live dvd or cd albums like me ?
you write, you are able to dev a sdk, where is it ?
you think you are sound engineer ,where are you working ? for who ? since when ?
you can devellope on visual basic ,me too ...and what else ?
you are better on forum than me ! that's the truth.
my topics is only about my experience with wordclock...if you don't accept this, that's not my problem...
we are on a forum, and i see lots of member coming on every topics and write their own truth...
but, where is the truth ? who is able to talk about someting when it's not his job ?
you are right, you disgust me to write about my job and experience.you have win again.

so,mr sound forum specialist : what is it ?astroman wrote:sorry Eric, any sound fragment of that size is an error in itself - before you can start listen, it's already over
disappointed, Tom
when you get, drop out,big cliks due to clock syncro (master/slave) ,that's not the same...how many of you have not understand well how to chain lots of num hard...i'm sure if i made a search,i will find a lot only here ...
about this fragment of that size ...wrong again, a clock error on pro hardware,( maybe in your pocket studio not the same) is only on few sample, and this one appears on this part of the4 mn wave recorded...maybe you haven't ear it...you understand nothing on sound...so,i will let you speak alone, you make me tired...
cheers,eric
