Foot Falcon

Post by wayne »

Been keeping myself amused at home making noise.

This one is a stroll called Foot Falcon - a term you may hear local Nyoongars use when lacking mechanical transportation :)

It sprung from my happy realisation one day that (7x7) + (3x5) = 64. Alright!

Recorded in Sonar using an RME quadMic into my blueface CW A16 for Kick, Snare & OH, Xite preamps for guitars & brass.

I'm playing 1960 Premier kit, Fender Jazz bass/Adern KikMe bassline via Roland PK-5 pedals, Telecaster, tuba, trombones and trumpets.

Mixed in Scope with stock tools and BX_digital. Not quite sure if it's music, still. Might leave it for a while to freshen my head.

Nice! Whew man that's a busy tuba line to play with foot pedals. You must be an organist by trade (or a soccer player  )

That sound is just bass & tuba unison - no fancy footwork there. Foot is used sparingly in conjunction with bass guitar earlier

Brilliant ! I love it ! The bass at the start rocks and then brass / guitar ... ALL ! Excellent ! If you are going more far, I suggest a sax or trumpet or even trombon solo..... I could make one, if you like... But you seem to be able to !
