funky funk tune played on funky sounds
I'm working on a chiptunes influenced series of soundtracks for an upcoming update to a game, and thought it'd be fun to do a very funky tune rendered in chiptune style sounds. It's not chiptune perse, more like chiptunes "inspired" since it's not 100% by chiptunes standards. (post effects, etc) But the horn (ish) arrangement is hot as ever and the clav is funky as funk itself. Make sure you have your sunglasses ready because the track's so cool you're going to want to put them on.

ah... reminds on those movies... and soundtrax
well mixed, but isn't it too high in quality for the chip tunes genre ? (no expert, tho...)
perfect in a games context - but for listening I'd grab the vinyl anytime
(actually it's only in recent years that I realize how great some of those tracks were back then)
cheers, Tom

Lots of fun there! You keep tempting me Ken, if I had the time, that would be a crazy slaping song, my hands would hurt... Cool
