Planned Accidents

Post by braincell »

I bought a lot of music gear recently and this is the result.

The best purchase was the Roland RC-50 Loop Station. It's a no frills flash based loop recorder. It has 3 loops per preset with 99 presets and over 40 minutes recording time. It is operated through foot switches largely and so it's marketed to guitarists but this could be used for anything. I find it perfect for building a choir with many overdubs which I did at the end of this composition.

It's nice to get away from the computer.

Do I hear a bit of 2D Warper at the beginning?

This a lot of fun! Makes me think a bit of Loop Guru with a twist.

Nice twist! :)

Paul, I saw Loop Guru open for System 7.

I didn't use 2D warper but I used SIR there on some wind patch in the modular. The wind sound used a lot of high frequency which hurt my ears and SIR usually muffles the sound a lot. Thanks!

I have to revise it for the dance but I will be reposting it to this thread in a couple of weeks if anyone is interested.
