new mixers!

16 channels, 4 Aux, 4 flexible EQs per channel.
the ABusFB version has the option to route any Aux to any Aux (->FB).

thanks JAV for inspiration!

update:
new Gui with up/down channel text letters,
I created a special font which is included in the zip, and has to be installed.

The TC Fireworx sounds so beautiful with your Stereo AUXs.
Love the bus idea.
Great for when you have a stage monitor and a separate mix needs to go to FOH.

Thanks for the early Christmas gifts.

FWIW It uses little DSP, and loads up on DSP 15.
Last chip in the 7-11-15 trail.
Usually devices load on 7 then I move them to the 15/16/17/18 slots.

Sweetness.....

Good news RoyT.
I can load 3 of these for a true 4 x IEM mix, stage mix and FOH.

Really cool since they have ScreenSet capabilities.

Routing devices by Maud i8 x 3 makes this a piece of cake.

Nice

With the aux/buses as they are here, this is a great mixer for dub. But effect bleed would be really cool...if you find the time and interest, can I request each aux/bus section include the ability to send to other aux buses? If a feedback module was in the path, each Aux could send to all the other Aux buses, including itself. If that didn't work out, a daisy chain of Aux1 going to Aux 2/3/4, Aux 2 going to Aux 3/4, and Aux 3 going to Aux 4 would allow for complex effects mixing, easy bus/parallel compression, and bleed over into reverb channels.

It would make the mixer unique if nothing else ;)

thanks for your comments.
first, I have to apologize for a (tiny) update for the ABus mixers:
insertFx have a channel name on top of the device, which I forgot to connect with the actual mixer's channel name (which you can define by yourself). it always showed 'ch01'. sorry, fixed that.

then, regarding jk's suggestion to have a Fb option for the Aux/Busses:
in fact I thought of that too, but dismissed it with regard to 'let the mixer just be a mixer'.

but hey, why not involve some Fb network madness? :P
here it is:

Thank you! No more burning channels for aux feedback! And now a complete effect router built into a mixer, this is beyond even the venerable SpaceF Modular Mixer's MB7! My setup just got a lot simpler to pull off a multi effect unit that is tightly coupled with my channels and mixing flow. Which really means very low routing for my XITE using non STM mixers. It looks like a very simple change to the mixer, but really reduced a ton of screen, preset, and MIDI management for control. Next paycheck I'm heading for the donate button!!!

Hell JKS,
All you need now is a pair of TC Fireworx cascaded with SPDIF, ADAT or AES/EBU.
Digital connector as the cascade is tight, from there analog into a A16 or use ADAT, AES/EBU of SPDIF into the XITE-1.

What's nice is dNa Optimus Prime is such a fantastic Delay the Fireworx can be used for whacky mods, reverbs and smoking thick bacon assed Phase Shitfers...

RoyT's mixer is perfect for mixing Scopes FX with the outside world, perfect solutionm ofr live work, hands down.

roy this is an excellent update. (and thanks to jksuperstar for suggesting) I have always wanted the option to do serial or parallel effects sends w/o having to reconfigure.
Thanks again. :)

Tried the mixer in a new project live and the Stereo AUX Sends are pristine and so transparent.
On the mono send stereo return mixers you can hear phase issues when cranking up the AUXs.
Its a slight coloring.
These mixers are just perfect for AUX mixing.

Really great stuff RoyT
