A big mistake.
The MIX Potti had no function.
This is the corrected version.

Hi

Another sounding Compressor. Placed two "Bands" on the side and middle signal.

Have fun

Bang on! Great sounding compressor... and also very nice looking!

It really helps giving that "thump" sound to the bottom, and sound cool when driven hard!

Thanks

Still exploring it ...

One thing though ... When i tweak the m/s to the left side (mono) i seem to be getting the output panned left ....

(Does this enable processing only on the left channel ?(??) )

I can not find this problem but have another error noticed.
The MIX Potti had no function.
I corrected it.

Hehe thanx ... I didnt get to the stage of mixing it "out" yet ... Am still learning how to use it in 100% mix ;)

I will reDL and see if I can display the behavior I encountered .... ;)

But basically - what does the m/s knob do ?
(Feeds m or s into the "sidechain" ? Or m/s control of the signal (both in and out ?)

The M / S mode knob turned to the left reduces the current threshold value from the side signal.
Right turned the threshold of the middle signal is reduced.

Thank you :)

Does the compressor work on both bands seperately - or is there one single compression (attenuation) stage that will works on both bands (but reacts to a function of two different attenuation signal feeds? :)

(I couldnt understand if thats what you meant by two "bands" on m/s - or if u were referring to the bass band and the "else" band ;)

Here's the signal flow.
Signal input - high / low pass filter - 2-band frequency separation - M/S separation for each frequency band -
a compressor on the high and a compressor on the low for each M/S Signal.........out.

Cool ... Thanks! :)

(If this is the case - may i suggest a seperate m/s control knob for high & low bands - to be able to tighten the mono image on low and expand the highs a bit ;)
