Nicest emu of the SLAM I have heard yet.
Runnig 2 in parallel to get that sound but very cool even for external hardware.

Decided on keeping one instance in the synth Buss using the Tube as it has a nice coloring and keeps me down at -6.0db, I let the analog stage monitors do the rest of the gain make up.

Excellent device !

I put it after MBX5 compressor in mastering chain (I don't use optimaster anymore), this allows me to set final output at -0.3 db and add 1 or 2 db on the lowest parts. The fact that it reduce hi band level & low band level separately (and of course band split adjustable !) is great benefit for the result. Opto mode is transparent ; tube mode changes the sound : a bit more low frequencies, more level, depending on what kind of sound & purpose you use it.
