Hi, Peter ... Another one ! Crazy !

I'd like you to tell a bit more about the softhancer. I already tried it. Does it work like an eq ? Or ... How does it work ? Is it a bit like psy Q ?
I'm not a sound engineer so I need some explaination... I know I must trust my ears but I like to understand well what happens for the sound in a plugin.

Thanks, Peter ! It's tremendous !

Its not a equalizer. The treble and bass work like a Exiter (distortion principle). The middle is a function of Comb filter and soft clips.

I didn't know what to do next to obtain exactly what I was looking for with an hihat sound. After a lot of eq trials, I tried with the sofhancer, I didn't want something too radical, just some soft fx and the best result I get is with it.

I don't know exactly what does sofhancer with the sound, I guess it excites harmonics in a some way or other...
The result is perfect for what I wanted to achieve --> excellent tool.

Thanks, Peter !

I must confess that some explanation about how it process the sound would be very well welcomed... :D

Don't miss Peter's devices !

You need patience for taming them, then they become indispensable !

Seems simple enough to tweak but any presets available?
