Pressure - monosynth (can be used polyphonically too)
Re: Pressure - monosynth (can be used polyphonically too)
As I said the MIDI works fine, the XITE-1 often loads Modular with audio silence, usually fixed by loading a preset, or moving the Poly 1/2 slider.
I'll just rebuild from scratch and see wassup......

I don't get any sound, here. Midi is ok but niente output.
I tried to check with a vumeter inside modular to see where the sound stops and after the Sw3-1s module, I don't have any signal.

Strange because it works fine here. I'll check into it in the coming days and get back to you asap folks.

Mon Frere Jopo....
Rebuild from scratch. This will help you memorize the design and it's just good practice.
Shroomz was right about the MIDI Channel.
At first you see a MIDI module that says omni, but there's the MVC B just a few modules below that is MIDI Channel 7.
After rebuilding I discovered this, but during the rebuild learned a great deal as I made each encoder group their own color, and studied the design.
As usual, I learn the hard way, but frustration and anger are excellant motivators for me, and being humbled by stupidity is a great reminder as then my cockiness, subsides for a week before returning to my asshole self.
So this was a multi purpose patch which works perfectly on MIDI Channel 7.

Re: Pressure - monosynth (can be used polyphonically too)
I do have a question though about the MVC B.
I love the way the connector jacks always color themselves when occupied, but I wish to know what might be connected to the yellow covered jack, as I see no cable.
And secondly what is GIT..?
Thanks in advance.

You're right ! I didn't see it either.
Re: Pressure - monosynth (can be used polyphonically too)
MVC B has a GUI bug. The connection indicators don't show correctly. I'll fix it for the next update.dawman wrote:I do have a question though about the MVC B.

The yellow covered jack you mention Jimmy is for Portamento/Glissando Mode control. The one next to it labelled GlT is for Portamento/Glissando Time. You can see these long names for all connectors in BC via the tooltip when you move the mouse pointer over them.
Re: Pressure - monosynth (can be used polyphonically too)
Glad you got it going guys. If you download the version I posted for Paul in the music thread here - http://forums.planetz.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=32028 you'll find that the synth loads with both midi channel settings at Ch 1 so it's ready to go on Ch 1 without having to make any changes. It also loads with the sound used in that track which is a pretty nice sound.

Guess I should edit my post then, apparently it didn't help anyway
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Hi mate, I edited the first posts because I put a link to here on a techno forum yesterday. Kinda doing this in a rush because I'm busy with other stuff. Did you suggest something that I forgot about like setting it to load with the midi on omni or something?next to nothing wrote:Guess I should edit my post then, apparently it didn't help anyway

Ok, well I don't know what it was any more. Sorry bud, the thread pretty much went tits up when I thought I had found that poly bug and panicked the other week.next to nothing wrote:Just the things you quoted in your third post

If people struggle to get sound and are unfamiliar with bc modular, the MVC module is set to channel 7 by default
No worries mate and by the way the post is still on page one, was just a friendly tip

Re: Pressure - monosynth (can be used polyphonically too)
When I loaded the new version Pressure9 for the first time, Scope asked for the location of Pressure.pre I just saved a new preset of the synth (as-is) once it fully loaded and the next time I loaded the synth it loaded fine.
It seems the current patch is the preset you used in your track Voyant. Is it that same patch? Thanks so much for sharing!
