10000 thanks for Shroomz & Sharc for their unbelievable talent & work!

Hi!
Here comes the MOVEQ+ 2, 4 & 8.

manual is available

The MOVamily (which is freeware) is included in the package

The MOVamily is developed especially for MOVEQ+ to extend it's possibilities. This is the beginning - the MOVamily will grow!!!
TRY THE MS DEVICE with MOVEQ+ split-modus!!!!

Make Your MOVEQ+ respond to MIDI-note-signals!!!

Play (experimental stuff) white noise as an instrument (use the MIDI-4-kick module & pusher module which is not explained in the manual...)

Have fun!

Martin

I'm collecting things which should be clearer, special situations, which lead to problems. So I will build up kind of official FAQ for MOVEQ+. Thanks kylie for his questions & reports!

BEGINNING OF A HINTLIST:

- Do not pull down the +/- faders too fast. There is a speedlimit in adjusting the movement amount  These faders are not meant to use for very fast 'live-movement'.

- Red LED-rings on EF-gain show the amount of incoming signal (depending on those gain settings).

- green gain-LED-rings are bipolar. When moved to negative values they show up from 0 to the point in negative. Other way round with positive values.

- EQ-group-gains have no labelling. Doubleclick them to get to the zero-position. In any case you should orientate to the Level meters to avoid clipping.

Hey MC, shroomz, sharc

I am playing arounf with your new toys and I love it.
Nice manual by the way...

I used the MovEQ in an very unusal way and I can tell you its a nice distortion unit  which seems to satisfy my needs much better than Overdive, etc. because it has the movement and different distortion in different bands... which makes a very analogish sounds.

Congratulations...

Nice work...

The GUI is strong and complex.

hehe...

hi martin,
(beta until the real versions are released better to have some first impressions of the mass first)
_my_ first impression: still looking great (apart from the sharp edges). the manual looks promising, but I'm sure there is room for more . pm'ed you some things.

Hifiboom, you should've heard what was possible with earlier versions

No joking: First I build in the whole circuit of evilknott, but it was too heavy on dsp and value-ranges had to be adjusted to suit the needs of an EQ. Now real drive can only be set with overdirving the bands. Nice to hear, that the movements make that kind of
intentionally (by you) set clipping more musical

@ kylie: Thanks for PM. First important thing to change:

I will make the LED-rings not selectable for mouse, so that it does not irritate being able to set them manually (although this has no audible effect). They are either conrolled by the knobs or influenced by the EF! Manual setting of rings makes no sense.

Sorry shroomz  I didn't want to hurt your aesthetic sense

MOVamily -design-updates were just a quick shot. They will be updated further soon.
Happy news is, that so far I didn't found anything wrong concerning functionality.

Shit, I hope your SCOPE will be well again soon. That's really bad. I couldn't live without it for long. If you need it urgently - my system is just a flight away

Yeh, I bet you put that led there on purpose

I think the Scope rigs' either got a dying PSU or dying system disk .. will fix it tomorrow

If someone who speaks good enough English can do a close to perfect translation of the manual page by page into German, then we can make a German version of the manual no problem.

if you want something done quickly, and your quality measures matter, do it yourself  (modification of an old proverb). that's why I already talked about that with martin. at least there could be some preliminary version soon, that would have to be finetuned, of course...

Weisste!?
