I hear it loud and clear on the zip. but I don't hear it on my rig.
But I am using the fine detuning knobs which could be masking it.
I will try it on a FAT Solaris preset and see what I get.

To replicate what you heard on the Zip (source music aside of course) you'll need to move the EQ frequency on & off the 20Hz point, possibly several times. Sometimes it occurs, sometimes it doesn't.

Btw, that clip was recorded through a FATener, so the offending sound is more prominent than it would be otherwise.

Definately EQ > Tube Saturation
It makes my EP's Gurgle & Froth as if they had rabies or something.
I use the Q amount to create a Bell shape curve leaving the extreme low & high untreated.
Even though my developer for the Rhodes & Wurlitzer libraries stretched their samples to accomodate an 88 note controller, the real instruments were 47/61 noters.
For the real low end on a Rhodes they made a Bass version which the Doors J.Manzerek used that had the appropriate thickness for the Tines. If I really need to have the 88 notes I can use Sharc's accurate low end model or my Bass Rhodes X-Sample library and use 3 zones.
Gibson 101 Organ and Rhodes are swapped out leaving the Bass unaffected.
The Gibson 101 sounds like the transistors are smokin' w/ SATEQ also.

It is one of 3 Valve & Tube treatments I use for vintage emu's.
I did hear the elusive 20K pitch artifact too.
Could it be attached to a Random waveform? It has that characteristic as there is no set time for it's expectation or arrival. :-?

I seem avoid it with the use of the Q knobs placements.

Thanks Again Brotha' Man Martin.

This is indeed beautiful work, Mccy
Yeah, mostly because of pixelbites graphics :-)

(edit: better this way?) :D

I just listened to the wav. I will look into this. Sounds like heavy distortion to me. Maybe try lowering the small knob in front of the EQsat knob.

Don't worry about it. I probably shouldn't have mentioned it.

8) This device really looks and sounds good. And that's what I like about the whole Scope hard/software platform: why spend loads of €£$ on hardware devices with 5-digit pricetags that are just one trick ponys when all you brilliant SDK wizards come up with similar (better) devices for free?

I think the Planet Z SDK Scopers have initiated a new genre of bragging rights. "Inverse bragging rights." This enables the bragger to feel superior because their device cost nothing, making the "braggee" (the one on the rough end of the bragging) feel inadequete and guilty having spent a fortune on something clearly inferior.

Many thanks for your efforts, Martin. I vote for a version 3. 'Cos 3 is more than 2, you know, MORE!!

Those little pitch knobs actually detune w/ saturtaion, At least on my version.
They are hard to see, but they sound great, one the best features IMHO.

Yeah I noticed that the other day but paid no heed as I assumed it was an ISP outage. Ill have to follow up.

I don't think there's anything there about this plug though.

Whoa! Thanks for reviving this thread however inadvertently, somehow I missed this device. Very nice weapon in the Scope arsenal. Thank you Jimmy for the keyboard tips!
