Here's a patch created by jhulk which he's asked me to post for him. It's based on the Oakley Sound analogue phaser modules.

Brilliant ! Thanks !

A very good example to understand phaser & clm system...

I really like these all-pass phasers, instead of the typical delay based ones. They sound more musical, and less excessive effect-like (if that can be a term).

Great use of those all-pass filters!!

delay based are flangers

phasers have always been allpass filters as when a signal goes through a allpass filter it is 180 degrees out of phase from input so each stage

becomes 180 out of phase and they cause cancellation in frequency and why you get the swirly sound as the cancellations happen

great sound! Thanks for sharing that, I will be using that a lot.

Dan

(I had to reload the Sw1-2S module to connect audio to the input but it works fine now, maybe it got corrupted or you have a newer version or maybe just my system)

dont know as that was the last version sent to sharc as mine never had the external audio input into switch 2 only the noise for testing

talk to sharc about it as it might be a glitch in the switch module or like you said it might be your system

mine went hay wire recently lost all delay outputs so none of the delay fx worked

when a few days before i took my rig to bristol they did instead of delays i was just getting pitch lfo modulation type sounds in stead of the delays i was getting before

i have not sorted that out yet but will look into it in april when im back in the studio

No that's just me being stupid and connecting the audio in to a spare socket on the switch without thinking .

I think Jammie had set it up as an on/off switch for the bpf noise, but it was hogging the effect input. To have a toggle between noise and audio input I should have swapped it out for a Sw2-1S module.

Sorry about that. I've replaced the download with a version using the correct direction of switch.

ya, that works a lot better. thanks

yes i only had the switch as an on off when i used the module i just deleted the cable and wired it direct to the audio in

as the noise was only for testing

but a 2 to 1 switch is better as you get to keep the noise

and switch between the both

i think i sent sharc all the phasers like that if i remember just to show how the phasers sounded as noise are great for phaser fx

yeah I like to switch it and hear the noise too, it really accentuates the effect and I don't have to hold down a key when I want to tweak it. Nice patch.

well, I tried them out initially. Couldn't figure out how to get sound in and out, I was planning on spending some more time on them but got side-tracked. I have some questions for you about the signal path in and out of the modular shell on a couple of your patches. I'll PM you next week when I get back. I like what you are doing though, some really good sounding effects.

A few tweaks for me and now it's a perfect Aux effect and sounds better than my other great phaser.
The extra controls have added enough tweaks to make this completely smooth with no notches when the LFO wraps around, etc.

Thanks Guys.

glad you like it jimmy

i have a few others for you to try out

the dual aries 14stage phaser flanger is a great effect

and the neptune phaser

im finishing working on a mutron dual 6 stage linked 12stage stereo phaser

and the 16 pole 1 pole filter is comming along nicely

Great news, and the fact it is mono in means Guitarists can use it, and the AUXs on the STM mixers send are always mono, then stereo into the mixer.
Look forward to the new ones.

Thanks sharc and jhulk!

Must check that one out.
I am building a real Oakley and eurorack analog Modular right now and a Deep Equinox also, this Oakley modules sound so good.

Cheers
