MiniMax - 75 New Presets **UPDATE 4 Feb 2007**

Seventy Five new presets for those fortunate enough to own MINIMAX. i've also included all the CreamWare factory banks plus Ben Walker's & Petal's presets into one User Bank, so this is your one uberbank download solution. i've also added two banks of Minimoog presets that were in the original patch book. Every patch plus suggested variations has been transferred.

Mr Arkadin.

File updated: 04.02.07

(Thanks to Ben and petal for permission to use their files here).

Thank YOU (don't usually get much response round these parts). i think you just bought MiniMax recently, you will enjoy it. Maybe you'll even post some patches of your own soon.

Cheers,
Mr A.

Thanks for the feedback chaps. Nikibuzz asked me about the aftertouch i'd assigned, and to be honest i hadn't given it much thought, so i've quickly updated all the presets with what i believe are appropriate amounts of aftertouch to appropriate parameters (mostly the filter).

i've based the amounts on my Yamaha Motif aftertouch, so you may find it's not enough or too much depending on your keyboard. Adjust at will!

i also added a few patches to make the bank up to 55 patches (sorry, i'm one of life's perpetual tinkerers - can't leave well alone).

All the patches will sound the same as before however, unless you use aftertouch.

Just updated this file due to an error in the preset list numbers - also rounded it up to 60 presets.

Cheers piddi. i actually have an update to this but i have no DAW at the mo so i can't post them yet. It's basically this file (maybe some new presets - can't remember now) with a couple of new files based on the Minimoog patches books found on the Yahoo Lords of the Minimoog group, including Rick Wakeman and ELP sounds plus the orginal Mini sounds. Hope to get them to you all soon.

i've been sitting on these presets for a while (due to Mac death) and i finally got them back, so only slightly updated, but enough to justify an update ;).

Hi!
I am new here and quite new Minimax user as well.

Is this file for Creamware Minimax? If yes - how can I update it to my ASB? The librarian software for Minimax would not open this MINIMAX.pre - file...

Thanks in advance!

Sadly i know of no program that converts Scope .pre to ASB or Noah preset format. That would be a cool idea but unless someone knows the file format i think for now you won't be able to use it. Is it possible to recall them using the computer interface that looks the same as Scope Minimax.

Great stuff! Really makes the mini enjoyable for a novice programmer.
