Although I haven’t had any response from the recently uploaded “Music Notes” database, I did promise some time ago to make this database available to users too.
It allows you to:
Create a catalogue of all your soft synths. For Pulsar synths you can store the midi channel too, if that is the way that you use them.
Create your own categories/voice types for storing/sorting your patches under.
Catalogue your patches with meaningful comments.
Add in the names of additional sound banks/presets that the patches are stored in.
For Pulsar Synths you can store the Bank and Program Change numbers that you've saved the patches under.
Catalogue your samples/wave files if you wish, with the pathname/location of the files.
Generate reports to the screen or printer, by voice type, by synth, by searching on a keyword or key phrase.

Why did I write it?
So often you can be working on a track and think "I need a pad with a slow attack, or a bass synth with a good filter response" etc. You can lose valuable time and creative inspiration by loading and unloading synths and trying patches out.
This simple database allows you to categorise all your patches and add relevant comments about each one.
A keyword search will allow you to lookup your key phrases such as "awesome saw wave", "warm pad" etc etc. Or you can search by voice type, generating a list of all “techno leads” to the screen for instance.
This database can be loaded and closed at will to quickly help in finding the sound that you need.

I have included a few dozen synths and a few thousand patches to get you started, although you will have to categorise then and add your own comments.
I hope that it’s of use to someone.
