This is the synth I use the most live, as it's presets are fast and snappy. It fits nicely between QWave, and Solaris, in terms of capabilities, and pallette.
The Waldorf Pair II, and the standard Saw-Sweep on Oscillator 2 are used.
ModWheel @ 100% cranked down to 50% gives you a descending portamento, @ 50% down to 0%, is where the action is. Slowly adjust to catch the WAVES you like.
Then imagine some of Carla Scaletti's phenominal DSP platform Kyma Capybara WAVEFORMS, home brewed, which have no names, but just are.
I can't understand what economic depression caused such dismal sales of ProWave, but if you like these, I have some super FAT analogs as well, that beg 4 battle on and off stage.
QWave, and Solaris are the ultimate synths in the studio, but 4live work, ProWave allows fast and furious preset changes, that punishes any VST synth I have heard, period.
This Dog Will HUNT !!
