Free Beta - VST 3D Reverb

Post by LHong »

A free Beta V0.1 - VST 3D Stereo Reverb (Windows Version)

It is compatible with VST host such as Cubase or Sonar.
You can simply copy the included DLL file to the VstPlugin folder then rescan the plugins within your own application Host.

Limitation for this Beta Version is that you can not save the custom Presets but you can modify and use the 30 Presets included.

Beta tester or comment is welcome.

Edit: Added Demo song was mixed with multiple 3D-VST Reverbs as follows.

Have fun,

LongStudios

Hi there, thanks for the chance to try this. I'll let you know what I think after giving a good work out. :)

Is it coded or synthedit or synthmaker or other?

Thanks!!

Hi Shroomz,
Thanks for your interest!
No, this plugin is not used any of synthedit nor synthmaker!
It is custom VST Reverb (Hall) for our Scope users ONLY, in other words!

A few words about this Verb in case some of you might interest:
It has (warm and natural) character for Vocal, 3-D master-mixed and also be fine for acoustic Guitar or Piano. Any frequency response within the Mid-range would be best of used, for example.

I will soon have beta V0.2, which done some bugs fixed and new GUI skins!

I trust any developer from the Silicone Valley area. I have difficulty w/ vocals and software based Revebs, and anything mic'd really. So I use hardware mostly. Lexicon via AES / or S/PDIF sounds so complete when I use it, but as you know it is too expensive to have multiple instances. If I could find a virtual 960 w/ a LARC, that doesn't kill the PCI buss. I would pay dearly.

Thanks, I will try this in Cubase 4 / SFP / GVI DAW. Then send it through an ECC83 warmer in SFP. Sgodda' sound good.

Hi scope4live,
Thanks for your interest and the comment!
You will never have enough Reverberators! Just kidding!
The trick using the Software Reverb (likes out-gear performance) is to connect it as Insert, dedicates one Reverb unit per Stereo channels as you can!

Have fun,

Doesn't seem to mess w/ the PCI buss very much, and has an excellant sound. Will you be fixing the preset dilemma in beta 2.0 ? I have used this in conjunction w/ Larry Seyers acoustic drums, where each drum has it's own convolution reverb embedded. This helps me as the Impulses eat up IPS's in the E6600 @ an alarming rate. I made a kit using the 3D w/ these impulses,...3 instances of 3D, and seven impulses. This kit sounds as if it were a nice room where the acoustics and ambience of the room are so real. The mic modelling in the impulse program can change percieved distance and mic model also, this is unbelievably fun, and educational as well as great sounding. I have too many memories of great sounding rooms, where the drums, i.e. toms especially have ringtones. Those days are long gone thank God.

Humbly Yours,

I'm glad to hear that!
I have new version ready, still need to find time to make more presets!
Take a look the GUI skins for the Beta V0.2.

Edit: Demo songs were mixed with multiple 3D-VST Reverbs as follows.

Enjoy it,

Reminds me of a 5.1 effect. It has a nice warm sound also, not tinny like so many emulated hardware FX are. Just saw the jpeg. You shouldn't have,....but.....I love it !!

Thanks Master LHong. Nee Hung Hau, Shee-Shaa.
