These are the five reasons why you can read this documentation:

1) Analogue Bass
2) Lucky Lead
3) Minimoog
4) SyncLead
5) AnaPad

This soundset is not in ANY way indended to try to recapture any of the traditional analogue sounds. We have them. We've heard them. And it's something I'm personally bored to death with.

Solaris is a different kind of VA-synthesizer and is one of the most flexible and inspiring synths I ever have come across. The soundset is a selection of the 101 most interesting patches from my personal library. The sounds are free and anyone may use them as they wish. I sincerely hope you will find as much pleasure in this soundset as I had creating them. If you use them in a recording, I would really appreciate if you would send me a copy.

A few remarks about the patches. Most patches are intented to be use monophonically. To hear the patches the way they are intended, assign no more than one voice for Solaris. Patches with an U in backets, such as (U3) means that the patch use the unison function and therefore needs more voices. U3 means it needs three voices.

To all the people who develop synthesizers. If you need help to extend your patch library, please feel free to contact me.

Thanks to John Bowen for creating the Solaris, Stephen Hummel for his synthesizers (your original Plastic is still brutal), Plump DJs for a fantastic set at Sankeys in Manchester 2004 and to all my close friends. You know who you are.

I can't believe there are no replies to this!

I 've only got the demo of Solaris, but your patches have helped me see just what this synth is capable of. The factory patches are a little on the unadventurous side.

Thank you

hey I'm in Manchester too
