<a name="planetz-file"></a><a href="http://www.planetz.com/Pulsar/files/pre ... .pre"><img src="/forums/images/file_icon.gif" border="0" alt=" File"> File</a><BR> <a name="planetz-tag"></a>Related To: MiniMax and MiniMoog<BR> <a name="planetz-tag"></a>Pulsar Version: SFP 3.1<BR> _____________________________________<BR><BR> I got this link from the Pulsar-mailinglist:

http://www.fantasyjackpalance.com/fjp/s ... oog.html#5

And decided to make the presetlist (50 presets) for the MiniMax.

I'd say they are more interesting from a nostalgic point of view than actually good patches - all though there's a few classics among them, known from music of the time.....

The volume isn't that loud on most of the patches, but I didn't want to change the original settings.

Enjoy!

Hee hee, some cheese-tastic sounds in there! Dunno if i'd actually use any of them - might do a version of this bank with some 'modern-taste' added.

Must have taken a while to do, you beat me to it - cheers petal!

Mr A

PS. i wonder if there are any charts by famous players of the '70s that exist somewhere?

Yup - those presets are something else.... Took me about 3 hours to remake them.
While making them and listening to them, I couldn't help trying to figure out what they were trying to achieve with that beast they had in their hands.... modelling real instruments - Jesus! If only they had known what we know now
In my ears the most interesting sounds are those called "A Good Sound", "Goom" and "The Moog Sound" - Those which aren't trying to emulate anything.
Makes you wonder what kind of screwed up musical ideas and ideals we are running around with now, but can't see yet....

Music-quiz:
I'm pretty sure I have heard the "Martian Kiss"-patch used somewhere, but I can't remember where. Does anyone in here have a clue?

TJ: I will be looking forward to hear an updated version of this presetbank!

TJ: Perhaps Mr. Moog himself have such an archive - I wonder if he might be willing to make them available?
Does any of you CW-folks in here now anything about such charts?

Just noticed you have used an older version of my 'uberbank' to base your bank on, thought you might like to know i've just updated my file (which includes a few extra presets and some tweaking) and now included your original MiniMoog patches too. i also included your own patches (hope that's OK), but would like to see some more from you so that you have a bigger bank!

Whoops!

I didn't check this - I thought I had only posted the 50 new presets - I never intended to post all the other patches in my name.
My mistake, I hope it's ok!

Absolutely fine with me (i've just included your presets in my MINIMAX update elsewhere ), just want to make sure everyone has all the latest versions of the banks. All the banks are credited to their respective authors so i don't see any problem. Sharing is good.

Mr A

PS. About the other thing, there must be some Rick Wakeman etc. MiniMoog patches on the internet somewhere - i'm sure we can dig some out.
