Question regards SDK License

Post by Refrochia »

Hi

I have a 14dsp that has SDK 4 registered to it but I run scope from my Pulsar as this has the Scope 5.1 license attached.

I'd like to get the new version of SDK but obviously can only have that registered to my 14dsp card which wont have scope 5.1 registered against it. Is this doable? :-?

Thanks

J hulk... when you say 14 or more DSP, would that include having 2 project II cards and a Luna card combined, or you have to have at least a 14 dsp "Card", SP or DP?

no, actually, it has to be a 14dsp card or bigger. combinations won't work.

oh :-? . lol  .

well, there goes that Idea.

Does it matter whether its an SP or DP card?

And if not, how much does it cost for the SDK buy in?

i'm not really sure what you mean. if both cards are in the same machine, i don't think it matters which has the v5.1 license.

thats what i was clarifying as i have 36 dsp in one machine with 5.1

and was wondering as you stated it had to be a 15/14 dsp card for sdk

as most of my keys are on the pulsa2 as that was the first card and the others came later

if it matered that the dsk was not on the pulsa2 card

What´s the cost of SCOPE 5 (?) SDK ?

I have a 15DSP card and a XITE-1 and think about using XITE for the music and the 15DSP card otherwise by interest.

thx

I was told 166,39 EUR by Ralf when I enquired in July last year for SDK5.1 licence without previously owning SDK4. Was a bit much for me to justify, given that I didn't have any specific plans for it apart from trying to package up some modular patches.

I emailed directly to enquire, I don't think it's available to purchase from the shop.
