Say i have a synth or effect with a little area that can be patched around like a modular. is it possible to use those modular "wires" and jacks?
I havent gotten my SDK yet. the messe and big announcement were probably a bit distracting
however i am planning a device, and im wondering how do do this part.

I dont have one so i could never know if it sounded right. It would be a cool project though (if the patching would work)

It would be cool, but as you know, it's never been done for Scope outside the mod shell. Infact, come to think of it, maybe you should sit on your ideas.. You don't get thanks for inspiring others.

Sure ... if you put a mod shell into your device. However only as separate window.

i dont have SDK, but there is at least one semi modular out there, isnt it?
i mean, it doesnt REALLY matter if you connect a cable "physically" or if you program instances in your device to go in a one way direction with a switch instead? as in route small mixers? (1 or 0)?

Something like Vaz would be totally possible. No cables, just pull-down menus ('combo boxes') like you can already see in action in John Bowen & SpaceF's synths.

yes the method used even back in the day of the first soft synth i used seer systems reality.
that was plan B. i just thought the modular connection would be nice, and also easy to see what you did.
The good news is Ralf says my SDK is on the road!
