CWA/Sonic Core gave green light

Post by Shayne White »

I e-mailed Wolf Roth to ask him if the Scope SDK was going to be replaced by a new Scope line at Messe, and I got replies.

Here's what I wrote:
Hi Wolf,

There has been renewed interest in restarting the Scope SDK manual project to fill in some of the gaps left by the original manuals. We're happy to continue with the project, but I was wondering if it's worth it at this point...we're not sure what's going to be announced at Messe and if it will replace the current Scope line. You don't have to tell me what is in the works, only if the current SDK is going to remain the latest thing for some time. If new stuff gets released soon, we probably shouldn't bother.

Please let me know, or I suppose we can find out in a week!

Cheers,

Shayne White
Here's what Wolf wrote:
Hi Shayne,

as far as I know, Holger + Juergen want to keep the SDK alive
remaining unchanged at least for the next months. Nevertheless
I have forwarded your request to Holger, who should be able to
answer your question more precisely.

Please give me a note, if you don't receive an answer.

Best regards
Wolf
Then Holger wrote me:
Hi Shayne,

Wolf forwarded me your message.

Thanks a lot for your support of Scope!!

The current SDK will remain of course.
We want to continue with producing, support
and distribution. Was that your question?
Feel free to contact me every time.

Will you visit the Musikmesse? Please visit
us there at Hall 5.1 Stand D-54.

Best regards,

So I guess that whatever get announced at MusikMesse isn't going to make the SDK immediately obsolete, and that means we can work on the manual some more.
