oh yes please,
i need help to come in modular module concept,
what you think about basic-start modules?
example simple shell with in/out, fader, knob, textfield, colorset.... meets bcm format
would be fantastic :P

... synthedit/synthmaker/reaktor concept really simple in the entry, but scope sdk i am doing hard,
ok, i´m not programmer, i´m synthesist, but love hand on concept´s for my own ideas...

I have some programming background, but it's hard for me to get into the SDK.
I'm missing some sort of index / description what the atoms do. ( Maybe I missed it ?)
As I'm just an enthusiast, without plans to make money by programming scopedevices, my goal is to build little useful devices.
( e.g. I failed in building a min/max display for midi-clock-rate)

Scope SDK has a very hard learning curve at first.

- The ranges are hard to work with. Most values are in the full int32 range of 0- 2147483647 which is kinda awkward and not intuitive to do math on without conversions. That said, many values use different ranges many times seemingly arbitrary and with no proper component reference it is difficult and trial and error to find the ranges sometimes. Look at the ranges on the modules that have knobs that come with SDK to get hints - and this is a place where our pack comes handy - we have a whole subfolder of knobs set to the ranges of different scope modules.

you can scale between things by having a module that does:
newVal = (((oldVal - oldMin) * (newMax - newMin)) / (oldMax - oldMin)) + newMin

- You have access to very basic programming conditionals, bools, and math. You can use those to "code" via wires and value nodes.

- Modular modules are done in a bit of a "hack in SDK - the module's panel is shown on the circuit directly as the top layer and you work downwards, instead of using the surface mode. You need a template "empty modular module", this is provided by SC. I can ask if holger agrees to post one here.

- Most things that require just a signal flow from processing modules are quite easy to make. It gets hard/awkward/frustrating if you are looking to do things that involve more coded/logic stuff away from the audio directly like complex GUI interactions for example (like something like matomat). unfortunately, that seems to deter many of us, which is a real disadvantage for scope
not every one of us should have to reinvent the bicycle, my opinion...

yes MATTOMAT is an ingenious move for XITE,
but project stepper was rejected, why??

SCOPE fusion is "hardware", and hardware always lives!
every PROJECT i see as a separate "FIRMENWARE" for the respective application,
thats, why DSP-systems so fantastic, and will never die
