you can rename the 5.1 folder so its not called scope pci (rename it to something like scope5)krizrox wrote:Thanks for the download links guys! Appreciated. I'm on it!
As far as installation is concerned, does V5.1 have to be removed before I can install V7? I think the answer is yes but I just wanted to confirm. Thanks!

Scope 7 can install into the v5.1 folder. it will overwrite the system files, but it will leave the personal user data.faxinadu wrote:you can rename the 5.1 folder so its not called scope pci (rename it to something like scope5)krizrox wrote:Thanks for the download links guys! I'm not sure what exactly catscratch is trying to do, but there is a problem/bug in the cc system on Scope, and as Atom informed me after many hours of trying to figure out what was going on, there has been a bug here for many many years. It's a very old and known bug from back in the creamware days:garyb wrote:as i have said before, i use ccs in the Scope mixers all the time and my settings get saved with the project reliably. unfortunately, the thing you are trying to do SHOULD work , but doesn't. still, you are the only one who has consistently complained, and only here and on XITEd. please write Holger and explain the exact actions that do not work. if he can fix it, he will.catscratch wrote:It's well documented on here so can't see why it wouldn't be included... been a thorn in my side for years now.don't know about that particular one
Great to hear - thanks!garyb wrote: that should not change with Scope 7. you can run PCI and XITE like always, afaik.
OK - great!garyb wrote:petal wrote:I installed the V7 driver and my v5.1 installation stopped working. Not sure I'f I can easily go back again.krizrox wrote:Thanks for the download links guys! Appreciated. I'm on it!

that's right, unless you manually choose to use the older driver.

If all "Z" users would ask to his favorit audio stuff media or forum to spread the good word to the world ! That would be nice !
