Online course: Audio Signal Processing f. Music Applications

There's a new free online course from the Stanford University available here:
https://www.coursera.org/course/audio

The official start is September, 21st.
You can already sign up now and prepare for it, though.

Interesting.

They don't deal with filters? Almost every DSP book I've read starts with a simple FIR filter. Then IIR, etc and how to design them. FFT is not really real time.

I would recommend this book for anyone starting to learn. Yes, it's old, but it's somewhat easy to read. I think I have two copies. Paid a dollar for each one. The examples are in Turbo Pascal, but can be easily converted to C/C++.
