in fact you do - it's just in proper reading... here's the original quote from Juergen:
...we will add some more stuff, inspired from the Scope Library, so we have a "smart converter".
whatever that is, it may well be optimized - but it's definitely not the original lib ;)

cheers, Tom

A smart A/D/A with routing modules in Scope environment would be awesome!

First rule of audio expenditures.
Why have one system, when you can have 2 for twice the price.......

I would never exchange my scope.!

Why should I buy one pizza for double price?
Pay two Pizzas get one!

I asked Juergen yesterday. They are Tascam types.
And it is a single DSP.

This device is not meant to replace scope systems.
But it could be a fairly good IO converter for a multiple pci card with ADAT setup...

without doubt.. i am using an alesis HD24 with adat to get 24 inputs into scope. this would replace that - and def. improve the sound quality! :)

And since its madi - it feels rather future proof!

I guess nowadays such a flood of products makes most musicans getting ineffektiv. I for example have decided for Scope Plattform, and the waterfall of New products can Run faster and faster, i dont care anymore.... Scope Has so many possibilities you will never find an end

Looks like a nice product. Putting a DSP on it is definitely a great idea.

But for now, I'm sticking with my PCI cards and my A16 Ultra. I'm not a professional :o

The Alesis HD24 is a great piece of gear.
I used them with Gigsatudio/Scope PCI Cards as my DAW for automated gigs.
Actually miss those.
Waiting for cues to play some parts here and there as the machine sync'd the show.
Slamming shots of iced Jager looking down over the stage at fine trim.
Now I got fat drunks and shitty pay.
At least the band is rocking....

First rule of audio racking: (In comparison to the A16)

Why buy 2 when you can buy 1 for half the space ?

Gimme me an A32, don't care what's inside, already know the quality they make.
I'll just get 3 x more TC Fireworx and make the band sound like a recording...
I am tired already of trying to figure out what could be used, might be added...etc.
It's already got what I need, anything extra is just Gravy...

i would possibly be on board for one too depending on the price. It might be overkill for my needs but it sure looks purdy :-)

I hoped for a 2nd product to make MADI and the A32 converter work w/ XITE-1 / 1D via XTDM bus.
Up to now, the Ferrofish A16mkII ADAT edition is still enough for XITE users.

Yes, it looks gorge there in the vid.... And an incredible price! Well done Ferrofish!

It is a pity that the fact that there's a modern SHARC in there wasn't highlighted... That the link with Sonic Core wasn't highlighted... Expands its usefulness bigtime.

Especially since the SoS trip to Musicmesse seems to have been sponsored by none other than UA Apollo! (at the start of the vid)

Yeah, too many inputs for me. I have an A16 Ultra and it's also too many inputs. I sold all my outboard gear (Nords, Viruses) in favour of Scope stuff lol. My Yamaha VL7 is a keeper though. Amazing synth.

Ya it's too bad they didn't mention about the included DSP and Sonic Core. What does UA have to do with this? They have their own interfaces.

It's a DSP-powered AD/DA, and Audio Interface - not so unlike the Ferrofish unit here in a way.
I only really mentioned it, cause you are hit with a UA advertisement for their Apollo interface at the start of the vid... the irony of it.
