I use to think that too but then went up against an all Robot band, smoked them on improv, and stole their ho's.Bud Weiser wrote:Well, that´s the (or our) future for sure.next to nothing wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RBSkq-_St8
The end of live musicians, perfectly programmed shows, androids w/ human skin and exchangable faces will be the stars.
It´s only a matter of investment ...
These "guys" don´t eat and drink, they don´t want a fee, don´t need a hotel or tourbus, will never do mistakes, travel in cases w/ the PA truck, never complain and so on.
Have you seen the other vids,- the robots live on festival stages ?
We´re already in that process of evolution and it´s some kind of test how the crowd reacts on such offers.
Now I hope,- the "Scorp###s" will be replaced soon by such machines because they are one of the worst pro bands in germany and totally arrogant wankers in addition.

We might be able to hack their O/S to make them buy Scope rigs though.Bud Weiser wrote:Well, that´s the (or our) future for sure. Better S|C contacts developers and makes a device controlling the robots from SCOPE environment running on XITE-1 while also controlling PA & Lights.dante wrote:

Or Sharc jumps in and makes it possible w/ BC Modular and 14Bit MIDI resolution once SCOPE 6 is out w/ OSC support and we don´t have to use the mouse anymore,- multi touch tablet PC and an controller app instead.

That´s amazing news reading SCOPE 6 in the CME controllers display !!!
MIDI resolution for Copperplug goes 16Bits, that´s killer.
But most amazing is,- SCOPE 6 WILL COME !

Something like this would be awesome with Scope.
We should coax Softube to return to Scope development.

very nice indeed. I'd want that for Scope but also voor my sequencer (Cubase).

I saw "them" playing "live" at the musikmesse. Funny.
Maybe some lack of public interaction still...
