as to the price, read the text a bit more carefully.
the price is 125 euro. vat included(EU customers pay this) it is 149 euro. non EU customers have vat removed at checkout.
And this all until 1st of July?
What if I have no time until Sunday?

Sound samples?
It plugs into any of your existing synths and turns them into sequenced beasts!

from the S|C website:

Extends all of your SCOPE synths as well as external synths.
Combines the functionality of an arpeggiator as well as a step sequencer
32 steps with individual velocity value

Additionally modulation of internal and external MIDI CC parameters
Innovative cycle design, clear and easy
Real-time DSP processing
Reliable synchronous to your favorite audio sequencer clock

Mattomat is an arpeggiator/step sequencer/modulator that allows up to 32 steps. You can control velocity and four additional freely selectable MIDI CC parameters of each active step, perfect for a lively sequence. Tone pitch can be controlled by a MIDI keyboard. You can design note course by six different modes: Arpeggio Up, Arpeggio Down, Up/down+, Up/Down-, Random and Chord. Additionally you can fix note pitch for each step as you are used to do with a hardware sequencer.

You can divide the circle into 1, 2 or 4 bars. If you use Mattomat as master, it could generate Midiclock by itself to synchronize additional Mattomat instances. If you use Mattomat as a slave, it could run with an external Midiclock (as for example by Cubase).

By Midiout, Mattomat could address external Midisynthesizers, as well as VST instruments. Every step amount between 2 and 32 is possible, ideal for odd rhythms or polyrhythmical sequences. Additional features are Transpose, Stepshift and counterclock rotation. Mattomat´s presets allow to control the presets of the connected synth devices

Sounds really cool, with nice features, like counterclock rotation.
And a good and logical step by S/C, as it gives the platform a new dimension, a real and original midi sequencer.

If only OSX...

Sound examples done on Scope Synths ain't a bad idea, or even any other synths really. If anyone does some (maybe I will but Im sure others who know step sequencing can do better), I'll put 'em in ScopeRise.

actually, there are some sound examples on the S|C webpage for Mattomat, but it's hard to say much about the sequencer/arpegiator from them, other than it works...

excellent device! I like that you can play the notes on the keyboard instead of having to program each individual notes by hand. Can't even imagine the possibility of running multiple instances. One fwd and one backward?

Got mine ! It works a treat.

I never really liked step sequencers before, I think because of the interface. But Mattomat has a very 'immediate' interface - I think thats what will set it apart (and the fact it runs on Scope).

Definately worth working on some original sequences and learning. Im running thru the presets now..... one preset 'Techno Pop1' when selected on both Mattomat and Minimax is great.... lovin it.

This is really gonna put a Gost in my Machine !
