Apart from SonicCore Booth and Solaris.

Anything else special which would be worth spending some time, Dante ?

Re S|C stand at show, any advances w/ Open Scope, ParseQ, Scope 6 etc.

O/T re ScopeRise, I've been thinking to review the ProOdyssey synth, so if you have any input on that would be great.

Buchla's Module.........?
I want to hear more about that. If there are some based on the Series 200E or 250, I'd definately buy that package.
But 30 large for synth. No way Jose....

Check out the Italain Company called Viscount.
They have a Gran Piano/Controller called Physis that uses 6 x SHARC DSP's.
Obviously developers are starting to realize that dedicated audio chip are far superior to Windows, OSX and Intel for creating realtime sounds.
Naturally I want my child to use Windows, Intel and Microsoft and KVR-VST's, I cannot afford more than a couple more than a couple dedicated pro audio rigs.
So Native/Intel/Microsoft/OSX rigs sound GRAYYY888888tttttt....
UA Apollo sure looks nice too. Check that out.
Sure is nice that our brethren who are serious across the Pond are going to the show.
I realize that the 2 hour train ride and entry fee could break a family apart.....So thanks for your eyes and ears.

600 km with my car to get there and the same to get back.

I just wanted to get there for years, so this year I took my chance. :)

Reduced - I was using a not so good internet connexion while being at the Musikmesse so I couldn't really check how the picture was looking on PlanetZ

Saw it on a pic, read it has DSPs, surprised you already know that´s SHARCs.
Very interesting for me too !

Didn't even notice that because behind John's Solarii there was the Schmidt 8-voices so I didn't have any possibilities to focus on anything else in that area :D

From what I remember these are more or less good electric guitars with th moog brand on them but nothing to do with a synth (except if you add the mooger foger pedal to it).

The Moog guitar is very cool - played one several times at NAMM.
Sort of a combination of ebow, sustainiac, and Moog synth.
However I wish they'd just sell the electronics as a product instead of having to sell it along with the ugly guitar.
And it's expensive - but cool.

The Lap Steel looks kinda stylish.

Is that an upgrade to the base model Solaris ?
