There is a demo for the Native version of bx_digital v2 wich no longer requires ilok one can download and try out. Here's the link - http://www.brainworx-music.de/

Ralf did create a SCOPE demo for v1 of bx for me but that was v1.

will BX digital give me better results once I have learned how to use it, if so why?

is there a demo available for scope?
You can only compare with other EQ like psyq or another one EQ. It's different, the M/S mode (separate process for mono and stereo parts of the signal) create really a good result on a mixing for the mastering. A lot of functions make this plug unique, you should try with the link gived, you'll apreciate but you have to take the time to try all the options and after you'll decide. I can to have deeper result with this EQ than all the others. I'm very happy with it.
Sonic Core Luna II + Pulsar II scope v5.1.2709-x64, Cubase 9.0.20 (64), Pro Tools 12.7, Wavelab element 9 (64), windows 8.1 pro (64), Asus P6T 18Go RAM core i7 920, SSL Duende Native - Lexicon PCM Reverb Bundle - Waves - Sonnox

You will get a better result once you understand mid/side processing:
