Kicking of with an irreverant review of 2013 and moving onto an update of BC Modular, we progress to more Time Machine 80's nostalgia featuring a Stockhausen interview and coverage from NAMM New Orleans. Then part 2 of Reason integration - now that we can 'MIDI Out' from Reason to drive Scope synths. John from Sur Audio gives some valuable tips on DSP usage including a neato submixing trick and ShayDan shows up with some awesome dub mixing (including live tricks and videos) and we take a peek at one of the recent dNa bundles with Ray.

Excellent Issue.
I was real happy to see Ken Suguros' Thunder and Rain patch.
It truly captures the sound. I use a sample of it I made for Bidule where I can trigger the loop using a Keyswitch on the highest note of my 88.

Yeah I like the way he emphasises that Modular is unique in a lot of ways especially you would not be able to do the rain / lightning randomness on a prefab synth coz they only have 2 LFO's etc.

When I first played that mp3 I turned up the vol full to hear the rain..... then 3/4 the way through the lightning came ...whoaaa WTF ? LOL !!!

It's this sort of stuff that comes from the Z brethren that makes it
