As I understand from previous posts in this thread this statement will not come as a big suprise to most of you.
I didnt get that mail but...if they hold that date i eat my hat.
Can I get a photograph of that please for ScopeRise ?

in midieval morality plays, the way you could ALWAYS recognize the character of Satan when he showed up on the scene was "HO HO HO!, what a guy am I!".

hey, wait a minute!

Satan always says HOHOHO! it's true(that's why Satan Claus, who is Pelznickle not St. Nicholas, who is tall and skinny and has nothing to do with coal or fireplaces says it), but NO ONE has called anyone here Satan. all i did was make a joke. what we call people who whine around here is "party pooper". every party needs a pooper!

I very recently changed over to 64bit and was prepared to put the Xite-1 on hold until the 64bit drivers were ready. So I was pleasantly surprised to get an email with the beta. So I made a True Image backup of my drive (just in case), uninstalled my MOTU Traveller and then connected the Xite-1 back up. Joy of joys, it all works :)

I haven't tested it thoroughly, yet as I didn't get time but so far so good :)

Ralf told me that most of the third party devices should work except for onces that rely on sys files (such as Zarg's synths and OSIRIS devices) they will be rewritten over the next couple of weeks.

That's great news, now they have scope 5 32-bit AND 64-bit both BETA versions, but why does everybody get a private email about this? I consider this as a big step forward. They are not there yet, I know, finally we know at what stage they are right now. That's promising. :) But still, it almost seems that SC wants as little people as possible know about all this. I wonder once scope 5 is really finished, if they'll let the world know...

In the meanwhile I'm still happy with Scope 4.5 32-bit. There's absoutely no rush for me :)

That's because it's still in beta and some devices still not work.

If anyone is interested in joining the beta team, just send Sonic Core an email

I am having a blast with this app.
I promised myself to never jump into an app and just wait,
but my other apps are all 64bit and they have all been rebuilt,
not bridged. So this is an entirely new frontier where the OS
and apps seem to be designed to take advantage of the latest
capabilities, like lossless audio sample compression,
core assignments, etc.
I only have to reach in the DAW and pull out the PCI-e 1X to
take the XITE-1 to work w/ a stable 32bit 1U Streamer.
Then when not gigging design a whole new rig...............

Thanks S|C Support.

My activation temp key works well.

I have sound with cubase 32 ! in recording and playing (ASIO_32_64) :) ,
I'll test cubase 64
and scope effects and synths soon.

[edit]with cubase 64 it works ok too ! cool ! (just audio test play and record with ASIO) [/edit]
