Will our Scope computers require internet connectivity to participate?

not necessarily the same computer, but you need a net connection and realtime access to scope. so a laptop near your scope system should do just fine :)

What level is the course pitched at? I would love to do this but am a modular newbie and have found going pretty tough in the past.

I'd have to buy Flexor as I don't have it at the mo but would be happy to do so if I could finally get to grips with modular synthesis.

Hi simon, try looking for my long post earlier which answers everything.
this course is for beginners and medium users, and you don't need flexor to enjoy the course.

I'm eager to that! If I can produce my own sound fx based on these lessons and raw waveforms, that's just what I look for!
Again, I can't wait to begin!

How many students now enrolled?

And there are more courses!

What about a nice certificate if you do all the courses.

Diploma from the Adern College in Sound Synthesis or something like that

can somebody record it and make it downloadable videos afterwards, for those who can't participate (well, if this is fine with adern, of course) ?!

The Videos will be 299 Euro, and they will have several Stars Of Stage & Screen.
Just Kidding. I have no idea what this class will entail, but from years of doing business with various folks including the moderator here, all I can say is I trust everyone and know things will be fine.
I trust this place way more than ebay, Craigs List, or even my next door neighbor who always borrows money and never payus me back.

WE have a full class as of late last night, and if anyone bails the last 2 folks who were feverish to join can slide in, but we are limited in bandwidth so the classes are 8 people in each one.
I will keep this thread updated after the first 10 weeks.
Red might even want to start another section of classes too, but for now this 1st group of Pioneers shall be the first ever online Flexor School.

I am quite skillful at creating fake documents and smuggling Mexicans up through Nogales during the Bull Fights, so for a nominal fee, I am sure my crew can up with some impressive Diplomas as an option.

It looks like the majority wins with the 8pm Greenwich Mean Time.
That's Noon for the Yanks, 3pm for the Cannucks, and 8-9pm for the Socialists, sorry I mean my European Brethren........
Share-it link will be provided tomorrow, or when the GMT guys wake up that is.

Also the Developer, God, Cellist and Proffessor had thrown in a free first lesson.
Ain't Life Grand..................?

If this time is a problem we might be able to slide one hour later, but that's about as flexible as the first few weeks go.

CiaoMein.

+1.. I would love to take this course, but because of work and family constraints, I cannot commit to attend every single one of them... The offline videos and the "homework", allowing me to accomodate the study to my constraints, would be of great help.

No way I can participate right now, but would love to be able to enrol on an off-line version of the course.
