in their newsletter (I received it yesterday, and it did not say a single word on M4 or Scope 5.1) they say:

trade in your old Creamware SCOPE or PULSAR board in exchange for a "special deal" rebate worth up to 900 EUR!

so it means returning your card.

Nice news. I still don't have the dough to get an xite but Modular 4 may actually make me update to Scope 5 (I'm eligible for keys but I haven't really felt the need to update yet). The new modules look very nice.

But when will we see Modular V, Snow Leopard 17 and Scope 6.0.?
I can't possibly meet my major motion picture deadlines as they won't allow the dub stages in 32bit anymore..................

the vst midi clock is an approach to overcome the clock sync jitter from midi hosts.
instead of using the transmitted midi clock signals and calculate the bpm out of them, the vst clock uses a VST plugin that directly transmits the timing info from the host to the clock module inside the modular.

So what do current Xite users get when they send in their old hardware ?
Oh wait, they already have my money. I'll shut up.

See, we KNEW something was happening!

Great job S/C! I personally know how much work you've done to accomplish all these updates.

Can't wait to shake your hand at NAMM.

Thanks!

well francis, you could simply buy another one and i am pretty sure you will get a rebate. Or, maybe you can send them a pulsar/scope pro and beg them for a discount on the plugs you need?

Being first is allways pricey, if you compare it to whatever deals come later. it sucks, but so do girls.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Buy another one!! thats the spirit. Have 2 almost usable systems..... And more plugs which cant be loaded doesnt help me much either!

sorry, I'm having a mood today. Shouldnt be whining here! sorry for the noise.

Thomann already has order links for the new trade in deals:

http://www.thomann.de/nl/search_dir.htm ... -1&x=8&y=4

Too bad it's really only 250 Euro off instead of 750 euro.

BTW How come the Xite-1 is 200 euro cheaper when you're from the UK??

Thanks Julian. Two questions. So has S|C developed a vst to transmit this data and is it a kind of asio to midi clock sync?

What about the plug-ins registered on the board - can they be transferred to the Xite-1?
I'll skip it this time though - more interested in the Scope 5.1 and Mod IV so I can go Win 7 + 64-bit and get rid of XP at last.

oh my god !! awesome.

This proves my theory that scope is in the right hands and that dsps are only as good as the software that runs on it.

more software... and away from the toish look of mod III to a more pro-looks!!!

VERY NICE.

*Long live the king* :D

Also seems you can only trade in one card. Is that correct?
