[Easter Freewares] 2 freeware and a MultiSynth add-on

Post by spacef »

Easter freewares:
2 mini devices: CCSwitcher (Pedal to button) and Crossfader.
Small, simple, useful. Doesn't melt in the hand, not radioactive.

Also, SyncPulse special osc released for MultiSynth.

For more info, check the news on: http://www.spacef-devices.com/

These work beautifully.
I use three MIDI Channels to layer QWave and WS4-MKII.
QWave is an incredible way to get the Waldorf Wave Synth sound, and WS4-MKII is just a custom synth using those awesome SpaceF Oscillators.
The beauty of this configuration is that I can also use JBowen's RDII Modules, Adern's Flexor RD Modules and SpaceF's Satellites for a basic 12 Oscillator, 3 x MIDI Channel beast of a synth. Unfortunatley I am severely restricted with the Polyphony, but I am hoping XITE-1 will change this.
On the CC2's I have 2 x faders with their own curves and Lag times, so when I jam the down the expression pedal, the preset time will move the knobs or faders they are assigned to, to the exact destinations and start points, all in the proper time. Great for Cutoff Filter Frequencies and LFO Rates.
The CC Switcher's are not attached to lag tines and can be instantaneous. Perfect for activating the Wave Envelopes, or kicking on Delays via the bypass buttons.
The Cross Fader is excellent and works flawlessley.
I can re route my synth channels from a dry AUX w/ the MB4-II, to an AUX where a serious deep Phaser or other effect can be used.
Everything works perfectly...
Thanks Mehdi.....

Is there any possibility you could make another version of that crossfader but the other way around? ie with two stereo inputs and one output? (like a dj mixer).
I'm looking for a way to quickly A/B compare two signal in Scope.

That would be very nice! You can never have enough crossfaders... :D
Btw, snake, maybe you haven't seen this before:

The Lag times are the clincher on this device.
Janni take an expression pedal or even a knob or slider and assign the fader on Mehdi's device to it.
No need to be an inaccurate human anymore, just twist the controller or slide to it's max position and the lag times make it work as good as an automaded fade in Ableton.
BTW, I just signed on at Guitar Center for Ableton Live Classes and got a free copy of Live so I am trying to get hip.
Who knows I might be the first XITE-1/Ableton Live DJ who plays along with the pre recorded music like I have done w/ VDAT..........

Hi Mehdi,

I'd love to try out your Y Fader S device, as I'm just getting started using NI Traktor with Scope and I think this could be ideal. Is this still available to download somewhere, as I don't seem to be able to find it on your new site?

Thanks,
Will

Mehdi is always disposed to feed the community with great tools!
Hey Mehdi? do your plans include a Xite purchase in 2010?
