DIGITAL AUDIO SOFT ON 5 CHANNEL

Post by sonolive »

DAS 5 Channel Reverb DSP Plug-in.

DAS 5 Channel Reverb is mainly a Surround 5.0 Reverb processor, but can also be used as 2 Standard stereo + 1 mono unit.

It is made of 5 independant High End original Reverb Engines, that are combined in many "link" algorythm. (ie L/R/C + LS/RS or L/R + C + LS/RS ...)

Each channel is controlled via a complete set of parameters, Reverb time, damp, mix, diffusion, delay and level

Inputs can be mono, Stereo, or surround 5.1, outputs are surround 5.1 channels.
The source positioning is avaible via a standard surround pan.

DAS 5 Channel Reverb is controllable via midi or Mackie HUI protocol - (baby hui not supported)

Hi,

there was no time for us to load it up before the frankfurt musik fair.
But you can get the installationfiles from DAS.

Just got my keys........thanks Ralf and Eric..
My 5.1 Piano appears to be working but I think this is a Psuedo appraoch. It's mic positions must be enabled properly and I have to use these ancient Klipsch monitors that are so lame compared to the Blue Sky's.
I will concentrate on using the dual stereo configuration so I can have Early Reflections that run in series to a Room. My Pizzacatto Strings sound really nice using this config.
So far though I can say this ain't no RM160 re packaged but a whole new verb.
Very nice work guys.

Oh Yeah......This Dog'll Hunt.
I got a really nice sound for Piano using the Dual Stereo and Mono approach.
I cranked it up a little for the demo's sake, but actually would use less live.
But the tails are very controllable and sound really nice.

You have to program each stero reverb seperately first, then add the mono for the third instance, and somehow it remebers all of them whenstored and recalled.

Sweet.............

It sounds great, both the playing and the reverb.
I´d like to hear this one with some percussion, to really get
the reverb distinct.
Good work, DAS....Tres bien !!
