That's a very gentil move, CWA
We owe John a lot

Were the EDS-16i and the SB-404 part of the offer, I would be complete...
30,- euro each, ok?

Yet, why do I have those bye-bye feelings, or am I too depressed?

I guess the clue is in the 3 licensies...allowing Planetz people to group?

Dont get this.
Is it group buy?
Why are SnS etc so much?
Just got for 95 Euros so still comes cheaper?

good move Ali!
no, not group buy, but licenses. that means for instance, that there are 3 prodysseys available total, to 3 lucky buyers who wanted a slight discount and to help John at the same time. m&m packs are 598 EURO! $555 is not a bad price, nor is it high!

if you paid $98 euro for the 4.5 upgrade, you didn't nessessarily get both packs! you might want one or the other.

Wow, this is such a nice surprise! I really appreciate the gesture from Creamware!

I understand Ali wanted this to be a very special deal for the planetz forum users, better than anywhere else. I'll ask Ali if he's able to revise his prices to be the cheapest anywhere. Clearly, people aren't gonna buy something here if it's more expensive, no matter how much they like planetz!

Also, I think garyb is right- I think it's clear from the other prices that these were not intended as group buys. So, you get 1 Protone license for the $195 price, but they're only offering 3 licenses at that price, so the first 3 buyers will get it, and then it'll be "sold out".

Thanks again everyone for your support.

-John

Thanks Ali! These prices are pretty compelling now, I hope.

Ali also asked me to remove links to that 3rd party dealer to avoid free advertising for them (Sorry piddi for editing your post!)

I'll update the top posting in this thread with the number sold/left for each item. So far, one arpeg-02 is sold.

Cheers,
-John

Please note:
Users only get 1 pack with the 4.5 upgrade if they have Pulsar II. The other pack is not 98 Euro.

Also many pulsar 1 users or Luna users don't get any of these packs when they upgrade to v 4.5. Here is a chance to hit 2 birds with one stone; to donate to this great forum and get something in return.

Ali, great idea !!

We have all of the above software though

Ali, maybe you could persuade Ralf to let yourself & John run a 'raffle'

The raffle prize could even be something slightly exotic like a Scope Pro board & SDK without NDA, which could raise lots of money !!

... ok, just kidding

It's a great deal at those new prices Ali, but we seriously do have all the software listed above, so I'll figure out how to donate a few quid to John the normal way !!

Hello

Nice move - but :

There is another forum dedicated to Creamware known from all french creamware users : maomusique.com !
CREAMWARE : There should be the same offer for this forum !
If not it would be a shame !
There may be many users of this french forum who are not speaking english.
And for such a user it would really make sense that the money supports his forum !

The forum in french language is useless for me, and probably for many other people in the whole world.
I think that Creamware cannot support every "national" forum about his products...
PlanetZ is undoubtedly the main support forum for Creamware users (the user forum in the creamware official site is never appeared!), then is official supported by the brand.
No shame, only honor to Creamware!

C'est la vie

For you : hope so
probably : you're not sure ?
for many other people in the whole world : oh really , there are many actif users on this forum and they are not worth being considered as those here on planetz ? (over 650 users on maomusique.com)

Its up to CW to see about this - your opinion is as valuable as mine

You may be wrong - I can tell you that this great truth that you are proclaiming, is not true for me, and perhaps for others.
There is a simple principle in life that makes things very peaceful : let exist the other in all his forms and expressions.

Here is all I need as far as information for the Creamware gear is concerned. Users from the whole world gather evidently more knowledge than a bunch of national users.

Beside that, the typical grumpy french attitude is very strong there....
