2.04 is a full install. Then install 2.04a on top of it.

But wait.....on the creamware site it says you need 2.01 too before installing 2.04 !!!!!.....really.....becauz u said 2.04 is good enough while it is only 45 megs instead of the 400 megs of version 1.

I'm somewhat confused here

Just try it. You won't destroy your computer. Anyway I might be wrong... maybe it is 2.01 that comes on the CD. I just think I installed directly to 2.04 after having accidentally deleted half of my Pulsar dir.. But I am not sure.

Well, i've tried to install 2.01/2,1 and then 2.04 but didn't work so i did it the old fashion way to install everything from the first version to the last (see list msg1). It's working perfectly actually.

The way I do it is "2.01 FULL followed by 2.04a UPDATE."

You only need the latest "full" install you can find, then apply the latest update. No need to install multiple full installs.

Of course the versions offered at Creamware Site are all right. Dowload it, and you're done.
