So it turns out I Only have 1 pci slot in my PC where I have my Pulsar 2 - I thought I had 2 but that was my last mobo !

Would a PCIE To PCI Adapter Card work for a second Pulsar 2 connected by STDM cable ?

it might work, but you are looking for trouble. i doubt such a cheap item will work correctly.

it wouldn't cost much more to just install a motherboard that works, once all the time spent fooling around with the computer is factored in.

I'm not shure about that brand pictured, but I once had such an item (also cheapo) and it did work flawless.
(but didn't have any influence on PCI throughput)
The main problem with that thing is that it's designed for half-height cards - you have to remove the slot bracket to get a Scope card in at all. But then a regular case won't close anymore because the card sits too high.

Don't waste your lifetime with such shit experiments. Your PC will play crazy GAMES with your nerves. Try another Mainboard and save time for the real important Things in your life : make music not fighting with a PCs configuration.

Cancel that - I have made my own cable

Swapping mainboards and installing xtra Pulsar 2 in a few days -
Fingers crossed Windows 10 will play nice but the new mobo has the same chipsets.
