Planetz to Scopeusers.com

Post by H-Rave »

I don't Know if this has been posted before. But as you may have noticed when you want to download devices, notably, An error message comes up.This is because the links have the PlanetZ address, So just change the Planetz.com address to scopeuser.com.
AN example is
http://forums.planetz.com/download/file.php?id=2211

This will become http://forums.scopeusers.com/download/file.php?id=2211

Have a good day..

Hoi Valis,

There must be some way to automate this, no? My sed/awk foo isn't the strongest, but I would be totally amazed if this weren't doable.. Feel free to hit me with more details on the underlying problem.

HI at0m!

The ones H-Rave is discussing are less of an issue. If you refer to the other thread, you'll see that the older (php 2.x.x) files were direct links and when one digs into those posts the links are broken, and often in 2-3 different ways. Some simply have been 'timed out' and removed from the forum, some are messed up posts like this one, but still discernible: http://forums.scopeusers.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2728

And some are completely broken as the url has elipses (...) replacing most of the path, plus a random filename at the end that has been truncated.

And, when I did regex replacements on the db to fix the ones referred to above, it made solving those worse as it can affect some of those links too. So I was working on them first (though I could identify just the sql tables that contain the newer type as above I suppose).
