hi, i have two luna cards and a pulsar 2 running together in a windows pc with scope 5.1 giving me a total of 12 dsps
now i took the chance to upgrade to win 10 with the new scope 7. everything is working so far. i'm hearing sound as desired on my several monitors, ins and outs seem to work well. only thing that bothers me is: if i load my old standard project with some mixers, eqs and other processing i get an error like "not enough dsps"!?
i discovered that the pulsar is not detected by scope can that be true??? it only shows my two luna cards, no pulsar!
what can i do?
no more Pulsar after update :-(
Re: no more Pulsar after update :-(
is the driver installed? check the entry in the device manager.
Re: no more Pulsar after update :-(
there are only the lunas... can/should i install a driver manually?!
Re: no more Pulsar after update :-(
yeah. you can try manually, through the update driver function in the device manager, you will have to select from a list, if the v7 driver isn't there, then you would need to try another way.
in Scope PCI\driver there is the driver installation app. you can run this and see if it discovers the Pulsar.
did you move the cards to this computer when installing v7?
if so, then the Pulsar is probably not all the way into the slot.

Re: no more Pulsar after update :-(
I have same PCI setup ( 1 Pulsar + 2 x Luna). Installing the Pulsar or Luna driver manually thru device manager I can vouch that works as I did it for recently Scope7 as well. Also Driver Toolkit can resolve driver issues in the device list leading to easier PCI card installs :

Re: no more Pulsar after update :-(
cool, thanks guys! seems to be running correctly now
i had to fiddle around in device manager to find the pulsar (had not been visible before) and it said "no resources"! so it was not a driver problem of pulsar... i installed new mainboard drivers and then it worked.
