Scope is not intended to autostart as it needs to run "as administrator".

Try like on picture,

I have tried now on my other computer, also running scope, but i didn't have under startup before.

Also make sure that under "Compatibility" "run this program as an administrator" is unchecked (disabled), just leave run as administrator under advanced option.

I have Windows 10 Home and Pro, works on both now with those settings, you said you have 8.1, but i think it's the same.

when i was trying at first, i also get this missing file, but it has something to do with administrator rights...cause i was just playing around "run as administrator" + registry key, that's all.
just like on pictures.

Where are you looking for this param ?
It's really annoying, with v5.1 all were right for the boot , now it's worse ... with v7 ... :-?

RESOLVED ! it works but it's the quicklink which has to be in the start menu not only the .exe because there is '-s' in the command line !!!

Why does it needs to run as administrator?

fidox picture up here helped me to get autostart working in Scope7.
But the Icon is no longer visible in the lower right corner of Windows 10. Its there, but invisible.
